Brent McCann

Brent is the Strategic Partnership Lead at Pasteur Network, bringing over a decade of expertise in coalition building, strategy and partnership development, and governance design across global and public health, including specific work in health campaigns, climate change and environment, and vaccine manufacturing. Over this period, he has partnered with global (e.g., multi and bi-laterals), regional, and country-level organizations, alongside national governments and the private sector. Brent has led strategy, coalition, and research work across Africa, the Americas, MENA, Asia, and Europe, including designing a multiple government-approved national health strategies in West, Central, and East Africa.

At Pasteur Network, his work centers on building and sustaining the partnerships that advance the Network’s mission across its strategic pillars, developing and supporting the Network’s evolving strategy, and supporting and refining governance structures (including its Strategic Advisory Board).

His goal is to help translate the Network’s collective expertise into coordinated action, strengthening the partnerships and governance that allow the Network to flourish. His work ultimately seeks to support the Network’s core value-add: that acting together across borders, through institutions embedded locally and of high quality, is stronger than any one acting alone.
