Founded in 1964, Istituto Pasteur Italia – Fondazione Cenci Bolognetti is a private non-profit research institution established in Rome thanks to the bequest of Princess Beatrice Fiorenza Cenci Bolognetti, the last heir of an ancient noble Roman family.
The Institute is committed to improving human health through basic biomedical research that covers a broad range of research fields including cell – developmental – molecular – structural and computational biology, genetics, microbiology, virology parasitology and infectious diseases, immunology, neuroscience, oncology, molecular medicine, medicinal chemistry and pharmacology.
