Fiocruz’s Network Technological Platforms.
The Rio de Janeiro Bioinformatics Platform offers access to a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster featuring: Three computing nodes with a combined total of 768 CPUs; Two fat nodes equipped with a total of 8TB of RAM; Two GPU nodes equipped with 4 NVIDIA A100 GPUs; and SAS and SATA storage options. Our platform provides an array of bioinformatics programs accessible through environmental modules, and users can request the addition of new programs. Additionally, we offer access to popular databases, with the option to request additional databases as needed. Our infrastructure is purposefully designed for optimal performance in various computational tasks, including: Genomic and transcriptomic analysis; Protein modeling; Docking and dynamics simulations; Machine learning tasks. Feel free to utilize our resources for your bioinformatics research needs.
