Single Cell Analysis Platforms

This platform allows researchers to investigate complex pathogen–host interactions at single-cell level directly on site in a low/middle income country. The availability of this equipment and of patient cohorts in the same location allows us to advance our basic research on infectious diseases in Cambodia, which is of major importance.

The luminex is a device for multiplexing proteomic or genomic analyses. Applications: ELISA assays, sequence detection, gene expression, etc.

Flow Cytometry & Cell Sorting Unit consists of instrumentation and software capable of supporting multiple studies including phenotypical and functional analysis regarding the characterization of immune cell populations for different experimental in vitro and in vivo models, cell cycle analysis, the detection of apoptosis and cell death, cell division, metabolic studies etc., as well as cell sorting studies, under pathogen-free conditions, for downstream applications, e.g. RNA-seq analysis. The Unit’s equipment consists of BD FACSCALIBUR 4CS IVD, BD FACSARIA Ι and BD FACSMelody installed in a Biological Safety Cabinet class II. FACS analysis unit provides support in users training, protocols design, sample analysis and results interpretation.

The BioImaging Center Lille (BICeL) is the academic platform for imaging, histology and cytometry of the University Hospital Campus, the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Pasteur Institute of Lille.

The BICeL brings together expertise, know-how and equipment on four platforms: (1) cytometry & flow imaging, (2) histology, (3) biophotonics and (4) electronic microscopy. Research & development in imaging techniques extends from the cell, to tissues and small rodent and aquatic organisms

The Cytometry Platform meets the needs of the scientific community for the multiparametric characterization of cell populations by providing high throughput cell analysis and sterile cell sorting services.
We provide flow cytometry services for analysis and sorting of cells, as well as training and expert consultation for project/experiment planning and collaborations.

It provides state-of-the art technologies and pipelines for an integrated approach in biomarker discovery. It provides end-to-end support to projects through cell phenotyping, sorting and molecular profiling
