Knowledge Sharing Officer
Hichem is the Knowledge Sharing Officer of the Pasteur Network and the administrator of PNLink, the Network’s community platform that brings together more than 30 institutes across five continents. His mission is to coordinate a secure, collaborative digital space for the Network, facilitating the exchange of expertise, ideas, and opportunities.
As the PN Communication Focal Point, he oversees the communication across the Pasteur Network. This includes coordinating the Network of regional communication focal points through, organizing Monthly Seminars and overseeing all the different Pasteur communication tools and channels.
He also supports the coordination and communication of several projects and initiatives within the Network like the Climate & Health Accelerator Project, promotes young researcher initiatives, and advocates for the integration of social sciences and public engagement within the network.
Before joining the Pasteur Network in 2024, he served for 14 years as Head of the “Communication, Science and Society Unit” at the Institut Pasteur de Tunis.
The Pasteur Network brings together 32 member institutes across 25 countries, with very different profiles and backgrounds, and a majority of members based in the Global South.
