Pasteur Network’s Policies and Principles

TRUST Code for Equitable Research Partnerships

The Pasteur Network adhere’s to the TRUST Code – A Global Code of Conduct for Equitable Research Partnerships. The Code was developed by 56 authors from all continents and all research stakeholders, including populations who are particularly vulnerable to exploitation in research. It was launched in the European Parliament in June 2018.

The Pasteur Network is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all individuals with whom we interact, including staff, partners, and research participants. In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national laws, this policy outlines how we collect, process, and safeguard personal data.

This GDPR / Data Protection Policy ensures that the Pasteur Network processes personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently, with the necessary security measures in place to protect the privacy of individuals.

Pasteur Network Equality Policy

The Pasteur Network is committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within our organization and the communities we serve. This policy outlines our principles and commitments towards ensuring equality of opportunity and non-discrimination across all aspects of our organization. Principles:

Non-discrimination: We will not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or victimization. Any such behavior is considered a serious offense and will be handled according to our disciplinary procedures

Inclusive Environment: Pasteur Network is dedicated to creating and maintaining an inclusive environment that respects and values diversity of experience, ideas, and perspectives

Implementation:

Responsibilities: Everyone associated with Pasteur Network shares the responsibility for promoting equality, preventing discrimination, and upholding the principles of this policy

Monitoring and Review: Pasteur Network will regularly monitor and review its equality policy to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with current legal and ethical standards

Compliance: Individuals who feel that they have been subjected to unequal treatment within the scope of this policy should report their concerns following Pasteur Network’s Non-compliance policy and procedure

Training and Awareness: Pasteur Network will provide training and raise awareness to ensure that all employees, partners, and stakeholders understand and adhere to the principles and responsibilities outlined in this policy

Legal Framework: Pasteur Network will comply with all relevant French and International equality legislation
