What personal data we collect and why we collect it
The Pasteur Network may collect personal data when you visit the website. Some of the personal data recorded here are either those that you voluntarily provide when you fill out an online form, or those collected automatically (cookies).
The Pasteur Network association also collects potentially personal information, such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. However, the Pasteur Network does not use IP addresses to identify individuals visiting the site and does not disclose such information except for statistics analysis without using the visitors name or specific information.
Contact forms
When visitors complete contact forms on the website, we collect the data shown in the form as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
The collected date will be only used for the means described on the contact form. The Pasteur Network association will only collect your personal data on contact forms and data agreed when accepting cookies.

If you complete a contact form on our site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and website in the cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you use the form again.

When filling a contact form, your information will be treated only by the Pasteur Network association. When needed and depending on your request, the information might be shared with one of our Member institutes in order to provide you with the correct answer, in this case, you will be notify about it.
Retaining your data
If you complete a contact form, the form and its metadata are retained indefinitely.
The Pasteur Network association only discloses potentially personally identifiable and personally identifiable information to project administrators, employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations who (i) need to know such information in order to process it on behalf of the association or to provide services available on our website, and (ii) who have agreed not to disclose them to others. Some of these employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country. By using the Pasteur Network association’s website you consent to the transfer of this information.
The Pasteur Network association will not rent or sell personally identifiable information to anyone.
As described above, the Pasteur Network association only discloses personally identifying information when required by law, with the exception of project administrators, employees, contractors, and affiliates; if you give permission to share your information, or where the Pasteur Network association considers that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property and / or rights of the Pasteur Network association, others, or the general public.
What rights you have over your data
The only elements that we will hold will be Name, Last Name, email and telephone number (not mandatory) and those collect with cookies. You can accept, modify, refuse or update cookie features directly on your browser.
If you have completed a contact form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Changes to the privacy policy
While most changes are minor, the Pasteur Network association may change its privacy policy from time to time, and at the Pasteur Network association’s sole discretion. The Pasteur Network association encourages visitors to the website to frequently check this page for any changes to its privacy policy.
